30 & 31 Weeks

Hellooo, I meant to post last week and never got to it.

Anway, I had my ultrasound/doctors appointment the Tuesday before last. I have good and bad news. The good news is that the baby looks great, heartbeat is great, I am measuring correctly, etc etc. Good!

The bad news is that apparently I have a placenta with issues. :/ When we got back into the room and the doctor came in she said that the reason they had me do another ultrasound is to check on my placenta again. Apparently they have been watching it and hoping it would move but it hasn't. The issue is that it attached low at conception and hasn't moved up, like most of them do, and are supposed to do. The danger with this is bleeding. If I go into labor with my placenta too close to my cervix then it can cause me to hemorrhage. She said it needs to be 2 centimeters away from the cervix to be safe. Its a form of what they call placenta previa, this picture shows it pretty good, mine is the first picture, the low lying one: previa

Anway, what does this mean? Well if the placenta doesn't move up away from the cervix soon then we will have to schedule a c-section. :/ I was pretty upset about it as she was telling me, but now that Lee and I talked about it and I've thought about it, I'm okay with it. And we still have a few more weeks for it to move. The doctor said she wasn't throwing in the towel yet, lol.

So if we do go with the c-section that means I will be scheduled at 38 or 39 weeks for it. Which means baby Chloe could be here in as little as 7 weeks! WOW!

So she told me that I will start my every 2 week appointments now (I go in again next Tuesday) and then in a month (2 weeks from next week) I will have another ultrasound to see how the placenta is doing. I'm assuming at that appointment we will decide on whether we are doing a c-section or not as it will be only 3 weeks till a possible date to do the c-section . The super duper great thing about this ultrasound is that it will also be a vaginal ultrasound. Doesn't that sound like fun?? I can't WAIT! Not. Sigh. She said they need to take some measurements that way. Ugh, oh well, I'll live!

So back to the good stuff! The ultrasound was a lot of fun, though short! We weren't in there more then 15 minutes. Here is our little girl at 30 weeks!

Check out those lips! I think she has definitely got her daddies, haha, mine are nothing to talk about! I can't wait to see her! I still have a surreal sort of feeling. I really still haven't grasped the fact I'm about to be a mom! Its so different! While we were watching her she was drinking! Her mouth was opening and closing and the tech said she saw her tongue, haha, so neat!

Here is my picture from last week of me at 30 weeks, I haven't done my 31 yet so I'll put that up later.

So I'm still feeling really good. Normal really, as long as I don't look down at my big belly poking out, haha. Little girl has definitely been moving a lot more these past weeks though. I feel her off and on almost every hour now.
I do have a few issues, mostly my back. Since about a month or two ago the right lower part of it will just ache and be so annoying, but usually only when I'm sitting. I have to find a different position or put a pillow behind my back. Also the heartburn is pretty annoying at times. Some weeks I will have it and others I won't. Today its pretty annoying. Most of the time a Tums will knock it out though. But today ughhh, its not working.

So really not much else to say. I'll probably blog again after my next appointment Tuesday. Ta ta!

The Aftermath

Phew, what a tiring weekend! I'm quite sad it's over though...

Anyway, everything went pretty well. Though it wasn't as great/wonderful as I was building it up and hoping for it to be. :/ For one thing, four women out shopping who all have differing opinions and who most of the time don't have a problem sharing them, can be a bad combination, lol. So Friday was a bit stressful. But nothing like Saturday. Ugh. The weather really was what made everything worse. I thought it was going to be perfect but it ended up being very cool and WINDY. So annoying. We were out there wrestling with table cloths forever and getting no where. Finally we figured out how to keep them on though, but they didn't look exactly like we were hoping...oh well. They still looked good. And it was COOL. Especially that night, being on the back porch became a little hard.

And then my mom and I got into it a few times, which culminated with me crying two or three times that day, yeah! I just love those pregnancy hormones. And being stressed and tired didn't help. But it wasn't all her fault, things just weren't going well and add it all together and you get a sniffly me. Lee was so sweet though. One time when I went out to the porch by myself trying to hold it together he came out with me and held me and said really sweet things to me and was just wonderful. I love that man. After that I was better and everything came together in the end.

The actual shower went well, everyone seemed to have fun. It still didn't live up to my expectations though...but I guess I kind of set myself up for that. A lot of people came, though 3 couples in particular that I was expecting did not come. Quite a few of Lee's family came, so that was good. And we had enough food, drinks, etc. Everyone looked happy, so yeah for that!

We got some good stuff. I was most excited about the stroller!! Its SO CUTE. Exactly the one I was wanting. My grandma in AZ and my aunts in CA bought it for me. We also got a mattress from Lee's parents and a lot of cute outfits, blankets, a ton of bath soap and lotions, wipes and a few bags of diapers. The sis in law made her a cute bucket with her name on it, and my aunt made her a sign with her name on it! I love it, I think it will be put over her crib.

Here's some pics!

So anywho! That was Friday and Saturday. Lets back up and go over my appointment Thursday now!

It started out a bit rocky. The MIL was about 10 mins late, but I wasn't ready either. I popped my hood just to check my coolant because I had been noticing my temp gauge a little high lately. Well of course it was almost empty. So dad had to come and put some stop leak and water, etc in it and that took a while. Then she finally got there and we headed out. Get there and I wrote down when I took my glucose stuff (which was suprisingly good!) and we sat for about 15 minutes. Then I went up and told them my hour was almost up so they sent me back there and pricked my finger (which hurt like a mother! I hate that thing, I'd rather have blood taken!) and then we sat there and watched the little machines she plugged my blood into. I didn't THINK I would fail the test, so I was pretty surprised when it popped up 148, which is about 9 points higher then they want. SNIFF. So I FAILED. :(

So, then they had to take blood from me to send of to the lab to find out if I really do have gestational diabetes or not. Great, another lab bill. The last one I had was over $200. Yay. Into the scary chair I went and got another taciturn nurse who poked me and immediately it felt like took it out. I was like thats it? Apparently my blood is ready to come out! LOL. After that we were sent back to the nurses station where my doctors offices are. They had me do my peeing in the cup and then took my weight. 138! So I gained 5lbs instead of 4 this month. Then we had to wait a bit for a room to open up. Finally got in there and got the HOTTEST room they have, no window, icky. I had to use a magazine to fan myself, bleck. Then the nurse came in and took my blood pressure, which was thankfully good at least.

Anyway the doctor came in and I introduced her to my 'other momma' lol, then she preceded to tell me my iron was lower then she liked. Sigh. But then she said just barely like .1 percent. Well geesh. Anyway, she game me a whole pack of sample iron pills to take till I deliver, so I don't have to buy any. Thank goodness. Then she measured my tummy, said that looked good, and we got to hear the heartbeat again, which was also great. Chloe kicked the monitor! Haha, that was pretty funny. Lets see...I think that was about it. She then told me that I will be coming back in 3 weeks for another ultrasound and then a appointment right after with her. But this is not my last ultrasound like I though, NOR is it the one I have paid for already. Sigh. So there is another 80$ that will have to come out of pocket. And apparently I do not get a 3D one like I thought...oh well, I'll be seeing her in a few months anyway! But I swear, the hits kept on coming!!

Anyway, that was definitely a different appointment, geesh. After that we headed out and made my appointment and my last payment, yeah! Then I told her I wanted to take her out for mothers day to eat so we went out to my favorite mexican restaurant. Then I dropped her off at a hair appointment she had and went on to where Lee was working on that house we are STILL painting.

So! That about covers it. I did not pay my hospital bill, it was late by the time we got out there and I really wanted to be sure it would be put in my back account before I wrote a check. Its not a big deal yet. I also didn't get my baby classes paid for, need to call and do that. But I also need to get the horses trimmed this week and the dog to the vet, and the groomer and UGH. Lets just add that up:

Horses: $60
Dog Vet: Est $25
Dogs Groomer: $60
Baby Classes: $70
= $215!!!!!!!!

Sigh.

Anyway, we have $200 in the savings now, but I really need to keep that for the ultrasound and lab work coming up. I know Lee will probably make some more this weekend...and we are getting $300+ from the state taxes SOMETIME, but who knows when...but the mortgage is also do next week, among other bills. But really and truly, I'm not that worried about it. God has blessed us so fully and I know He will continue to. We need to just keep being faithful with our tithe and good stewards of our money.

Well guess I need to do my belly pics! It is not as cute as it used to be. Its getting taller and lumpy. Here we are at 28 weeks! I just entered my 3rd and final trimester. Yeah for us!

Not much else to say I guess, until next time!

Baby Shower Week !

FINALLY! I am FULLY and totally excited. Yeah. That doesn't make much sense, but its true, lol. So only about 3 more days!

First off, lets get the belly pictures done! Here I am at 27 weeks!

You can kind of see I'm moving UP now, as well as out. Here is a front picture, haven't done one of those yet.
My belly sure looks shiney! Haha, its the flash. Anywho, I'm feeling pretty good!! No complaints! I surely hope the rest of my pregnancy and my delivery are this easy!! PLEASE! I found out today that the epidural will cost anywhere from $600-$3,000. Yeah. Phew. She said it just depends on how long my labor is. She was very nice and said they will work with me however they can, monthly payments, etc. I'm just not going to worry about it. Its in Gods hands anyway.

So my appointment is tomorrow! :D Lee's momma is going to meet me here at work around 3:45 and then we are going to head up there. I can't drink or eat anything after 2:00 and then have to chug that glucose drink down around 3:00. Then get there around 4:00, write down when I drank it, then sit there till an hour has passed from when I drank it. Then they take me back and prick my finger to check my sugar. HOPEFULLY they will tell me the results then, and not make me wait. I think in the 120's to low 130's I pass.

They may also schedule me for my 3D ultrasound! The doctor said they do it around 30 weeks, and I'll be nearly 28 at this appointment. So we'll see! I hope Lee's mom has fun! I may also pay my hospital bill tomorrow, we got paid part of the money for that house we are painting. I put the check in this morning, but they said it won't clear for 2 days, sigh. So I will have to try and see if the hospital will hold my check till Monday. It may or may not be in there Friday. I also need to sign up for my baby class in June. My sis in laws cousin took it last month and she said it was 'interesting'. Lol, and that they show you quite a bit. UGH. Lee is so not looking forward to it, lol. I'm pretty interested in the breastfeeding class though, I want to know as much as I can so that it will go as easy as possible.

Well! I just heard back from a lady I called yesterday about the insurance for the baby. She said I can pick up a paper from her and fill everything out and bring all our pay stubs from June to her, and she will have it so right when the baby is born she will be covered. Phew, thats great. I just hope we for sure qualify!

Anywho, the baby shower planning seems to be on target. My mom is getting a few things today, shes excited, lol, we are supposed to all go out Friday morning to get everything. I have the cutest things for candles that I found at Hobby Lobby. They are little glass holders that look like flower pots, and I'm getting this granulated wax in pink and green to fill them with. SO cute. The theme is basically daisys and green and pink. So my cake is going to be a two layer circle with a smaller one on top, the bottom hot pink, the top lime green. Then we are going to put daisys on it. I wanted to find some pacifiers with flowers on it to set around it, but haven't had any luck so far. The sis in law is doing my centerpiece and making signs for the road. Shes pretty excited too, lol.

The nursery is coming along! We got a crib last week too! :D We decided on the same green that I have in my master bathroom, lol. I picked it out without even knowing it was the same one until Lee started looking at old paint cans we have from like 2 years ago, and found a FULL brand new one of that color! So that helped with the money! Heres a few pics!

So now we have to paint the chair rail and the window, and do a few touch ups on the white underneath and its done! Then time for carpet cleaning, as well as buying and putting up the blinds. Can't wait!

So I'll let yall know how the appointment and the baby shower goes! My mom just came by here a few minutes ago and showed me these cute hot pink and green flower pots she got for prizes (she's planting plants in them) and then a baby bingo game, lol, and she found a really good price on water. Oh! And some cute baby socks for another game we are playing. You have 2 teams of 5 people and each team has 10 pairs of baby socks all mixed up in front of them. The first team to get all their sock pairs put together wins!

So anywho, ta ta!

Week 24, And A Good Appointment

Hey everyone! Well we have made it another few weeks! I am now 6 months pregnant. Only 3 more months to go! 106 days left! That sounds like a lot, but 3 months sounds like so little!

Anyway, last Thursdays appointment went well! My mom came with me and we had a lot of fun. We didn't have to wait long, and I did my peeing thing and they weighed me and on into the room! BTW, I've gained another 4 lbs. Which is SO weird because that is exactly what I gained the last two months in a row. So apparently I'm going to gain 4lbs every month, lol. So I am up to 133 now. EEP. 12lbs gained so far. Which compared to some people who have gained like 25 by now, I'm feeling pretty good about!

Once in the room I sit on the little table/bench thing and the nurse takes my blood pressure and this time she asked me if I was feeling the baby moving well. Yup! Then she brought in my glucose test junk. Yeah. Its a bottle of some sort of sugary drink. So 45 minutes before my next appointment I have to drink that stuff. Then after I get there, at exactly an hour after I drank it, they prick my finger and check my blood glucose to see if my sugar is high. If it is, then I have to take a 3 hour test to see if I have gestational diabetes. UGH. If I do have that then they have to put me on a special diet, BUMMER. It also makes your baby grow bigger which means more pain/tearing/pushing, etc. Please God let me pass!! I've been reading that it is not uncommon to fail your first hour test, but that does not mean you have diabetes. In fact, my sis in laws cousin failed it the other day, but passed the other. So I'm going to try not to freak out if I fail the first one!

Anyway after that the doctor was in shortly after and of course was in a hurry again. She asked me if all was well, etc, any questions. Then she got this little measuring tape and measured my tummy! Thats the first for that. I thought they might do that that appointment. Anyway, she said I was measuring 23 cent. which is exactly what I should be! Yeah! They measure from you pubic bone to the top of your uterus. So I was very relieved to hear that we are normal and on target.

After that she put the heartbeat monitor on my belly, and I just though, she didn't put the ultrasound gel on this time, yeah, that stuff is gross. I guess because its getting very easy to hear the heartbeat now. Supposedly Lee can hear it, but he's tried twice with no luck so far.

Anyway she very briefly listened to that and that was it! I was sort of hoping for something a little more exciting for mom, but she didn't mind. She was glad I asked her to come. After that we went out and made my payment (only one more left!!) and then my next appointment, which is 2 days before my baby shower! :)

Anywho, heres the belly pics for week 23 and 24:

If you look close you can see right where my top hand is, in the 2nd pic, my belly rounds out more from it. Hehe, neat! I sure hope by my baby shower (I'll be nearly 28 weeks) that I look good and pregnant! I am getting tired of hearing "you don't even look pregnant!!" Sigh. I know I should shut up and get over it, its better then looking like a cow! Haha.

Oh, I got Lee to take pictures with me the other day too, here are those.

I can't wait until I'm really showing to take some with him at a really pretty location. We have a neat covered bridge that is also near a waterfall and creek, where we took our engagement pictures. And! When we go to the beach we will be able to get some great ones there, as well. Can't wait! I'll be getting close to 30 weeks by then.

So while we were at the hospital I went down to the financial office to try and figure out how much an epidural was going to cost me and of course they didn't know, she gave me a phone number to call. Wish she would have called it then herself! Also, I found out about the insurance for the baby. I applied for it and heard back from them finally after 2 weeks only to find out that they don't insure the baby until its born. So I can't even APPLY and be accepted until she is born! Which means we will be paying out of pocket for the drs visits until they get her set up. UGH! So I guess I need to have the husband on the phone right after we get her name signed and SS#!

The lady at the financial office gave me a number to a lady that knows all about the AllKids program so I will call her and get her advice on what to do. I was told I can try and call the pediatrician I'm going to use and tell them my situation and they may work something out with me. Hopefully they will not bill me until I can get her coverage started, or something.

Okay, I've yammered on enough, I've got a neat video to show yall! This is little Chloe about 30 minutes ago kicking up a storm. At the end I turned the camera so you can see her from the front but then someone came in and I had to cut it off. Look closely at about 10 secs on the left, then at about 20 secs, then about 35 she moves to the right side, lol. Anyway! Here she is, yall have a great week!

22 Weeks!

SO, haven't been doing real well keeping my posting up, have I?? Anywho, I'm 22 weeks now! Getting close to 23. And not near what I thought I'd look like by Easter! Its kind of dissapointing! Oh well, I'm sure once I get big I'll be wishing I wasn't! lol

Anyway, here we are this week:

I took this Tuesday, and today I feel like I've popped even more. I keep looking at my tummy, lol. I bet I will see a difference between this picture and the one I take next week! Oh, Chloe just started moving around, she must want to put her two cents in too! haha

I am happy about my lower stomach getting bigger, but my upper stomach is ALSO getting bigger, and that REALLY is quite annoying. I have this fat roll now when I sit down and it gets in the way! I don't like the feel of it. Not to mentino the look of it! Ugh, Lee says its my uterus/tummy pushing up into it, but I definitely have a layer of fat on there that was not there before, lol. I'm going to be over 130lb when I go to the doctor again next week. Crap, that reminds me, I've got to come up with another $311.00 before then. Sigh. My mom is going to come with me to this appointment, and then Lee's mom is coming to the next months. The appointments are all so much the same now that it really is silly to have Lee get off work early to come with me. Besides, the moms will love hearing the heartbeat.

Anyway, little girl is getting very active. I love it though! And she doesn't do it at inconvenient times either. Just mostly during the day and afternoon. Around 9 or 10 sometimes she will wake up a bit for a little while, but thats it. When I get up to go to the bathroom at night (at least 4 times!) she will sometimes move around a bit, but it doesn't last long. She is a good girl so far! I'm hoping she keeps this schedule up! But I also wonder sometimes if maybe she does move around at night and I just don't feel it...but I am a pretty light sleeper. We'll see!

I'm feeling really good. I get a little sleepy at times, and this past week I've had a lot of trouble getting up in the morning, but other then that (and the constant bathroom breaks) I'm doing good! I feel like I've been eating a lot lately, and that sort of worries me, but I've always been such a light eater, its just weird to get up for seconds, or eat more then I usually do, lol. I still try not to overdo it! And then again, at other times I start eating and am immediately full after just a few bites!

Lee finally felt her move the other day! On Sunday I believe. He felt her again last night. I can actually see her push my stomach out now, that is kind of strange, lol, but neat. I'll have to get that on video!

So we have 2 trips tentatively planned for this spring/summer. The first being a backpacking trip the 27th of this month, and the other a beach trip sometime in May or possibly June. I'd rather it be May, but we are at the mercy of dates that the time share is open. We may go to Mobile, AL, Panama City, FL, or Destin FL. The sis in laws mom has to check dates for us. It will be a 4 day thing. And I know I will be happier in May then June since I will be getting real close to my due date by June!

The backpacking trip is still in the talks...I think us two pregnant girls will be okay, but we have to make sure we've got the money too. I'd like to buy a new backpack, there is one at wal mart I like a lot for 70, so I have to come up with that, and then we have food to buy. Lee really needs a new sleeping bag too...

I'm hoping I will be able to wear my hip strap low enough not to interfere with anything. I know girls are supposed to carry high, but I don't feel like she is right now! She is down low 80% of the time still. Maybe it is when your belly is really getting big that it sits higher rather then lower. But if I can't get that hip strap working for me, I won't be going, that takes a LOT of the load off your shoulders and without it you are miserable. I should probably ask my doctor Thurs if its okay if I go too...but what if she says no?? Sniff, lol. I have a trail all picked out already that is supposed to be super easy and near the water the whole time. Its only about 3-5 miles that we will be walking. The first part is 2 miles and then after we branch off onto the next trail we can stop at any time and set up camp wherever we find a good spot. Or keep going! And its got waterfalls on it! :D

Kind of along those lines, the sis and law and I started walking 2 miles twice a week at the park last week. I also went one day without her and did a mile. I would have yesterday too but had to work late after I got off here at dads shop over at Fallalary, ugh. I'm so glad I don't work there anymore! She had to go out of town and needed me for a few hours. Anyway, we are walking again today, she is not in as good of shape as me, but shes not bad. She's also about 13 weeks, right in that "ack, I can't breathe" stage, haha. She will be near 17 weeks by the time we go, I felt pretty good then.

So I think I have a bedding set picked out finally. Its super cute, this is it:
The picture is from Amazon.

It has a little lime green in it too, you can't see from that picture. We are planning on doing the walls in a sort of light green, with white below the chair rail. I wan't to get the bedding first though so I can take it to the store with me to pick out a color that coordinates.

I can't wait until our baby shower, that is coming up next month on the 8th. I ordered the invitations, should get them Monday! :D They are ADORABLE, perfect for what I want. I want a laid back, fun, summery atmosphere. Thats why we are calling it a 'baby-que', lol.

Click to make it bigger!

I just love them! I was hoping to get them in before Easter so I could just hand them out to a lot of people I'll be seeing, but dummy me waited too late. Sigh. I guess I'll just have to go around with a book writing down peoples addresses, lol. Especially his family, ugh. I'm thinking I will be giving out at least 25 invitations, and a lot of them will be couples, so we could have quite a party on our hands! I hope so!

My mom and his mom are putting it on, at my parents house. The guys will be out front playing horseshoes, volleyball, football, whatever and then us girls will be in the house or the back porch doing our games, presents, eating fruit. Then after that we will meet up with the guys to eat some hamburgers and potato salad YUM, and then eat cake/ice cream after that. I'm so excited! I know the party is supposed to be about me and the baby and Lee, but I won't be happy if everyone else isn't!

Anywho, guess I will quit with that! Till later!

Just A Tuesday

Hey guys! I don't really have any big news, just felt like blogging today. First off, here's the belly this week so far.

Not a whole lot of change from last week really.

Its been so beautiful out lately. Especially yesterday, it was HOT in the car when I got in it! I had to put the windows down! Hallelujah! Today it is still in the 60's, but cloudy, we are supposed to get rain today and tomorrow. But its held off so far and really been only partly cloudy today. Tomorrow we might get thunder storms. That sounds like warm weather to me! I think I'd WELCOME the sound of thunder!

I got a new haircut! As you probably noticed from the above picture. It is SHORT. And I LOVE IT! I can't believe how easy it is to mess with. I get up, turn it upside down and spray some hair spray in it, then flip it up and do some more spraying each side and BAM! I am DONE!! I'll try and get a pic, hold on...it needs to be washed, looked better yesterday, but oh well...

I'm hoping now I wont get questions like, "What high school do you go to??" or "Oh, I thought you were 17!" anymore! Geesh. No, your about 10 years off. -_-

So I do have one notable thing to tell! I can feel my little swimmer swimming around in there now! And kicking/punching, whatever it is she does. Rolling around, etc. Its SO COOL. No way to describe it. At times it feels more strange then neat, when she is really low and going after it, and I would rather she stop. But most of the time I love it. Although when she is about 5-6 lbs and kicking up in my ribcage, I probably won't love that so much. ;) She has been pretty quiet today. Yesterday she was pretty active. I actually felt her with my hand on the outside! That was too neat. I can't wait till Lee can feel her. If he is ever home! :(

He has been working every night this past week and this week except for Sunday. Not getting home until 10 usually. I feel like a single mom! Well, almost mom. I miss him...and feel so far from him. Not fun. We see each other for maybe 30 minutes to an hour at night and then a few in the morning. BOO! Last week I went over there a few nights after work and brought him dinner. But a lot of times I'm so tired from the day I just don't feel like sitting in the cold house/garage watching him. There really isn't a lot for me to do. And there is so much more to be done, really not even half way. And when he is not there he has 2 other side jobs he is working on. I am sooo happy we have this chance to make extra money and pay our doctor/hospital bills but it is hard too. Thank God he is a good hard worker.

Enough complaining! At least I get to spend time with him Thursday at our doctor appointment. I want to sign up for our birthing classes that day too. I'm not sure what will go on at this appointment. I know they will do the normal pee in a cup, weigh me, and we will hear the heartbeat. But I wonder what else since she will have looked at our ultrasound from last week. I pray she has nothing bad to say about it.

I'm about to get pretty hungry! Its Wednesday now, didn't get to finish my post yesterday. I am pretty excited about the leftover spaghetti from last night I get to eat! YUMMY. Jamie (my sis in law) came over and staid with us last night. She staid over Sunday night as well. My brother is out of town the whole week and she doesn't like staying at home by herself. We don't mind having her at all! She came to work and sat with me until I closed and we went and checked out the new TJ Maxx that opened Sunday just down from our store. I got a cute stretchy white shirt to wear and she bought a brown one.

So Chloe got a little more active last night. I could feel her with my hand but when I tried to get Lee to feel it she would quit! I tried again later that night after we went to bed and she stopped moving again! Argh! I guess we will just have to keep trying! Lee thinks she likes how warm his hand is and just wants to be still, haha.

Anway, thats about it! I'll let yall know how the appointment goes tomorrow!

The Results!

Sorry its taken me so long to post! I don't usually have a lot of down time until Tuesdays after the weekend.

So anyway! Are you ready to hear it???

It is a.......GIRL! Yeah, can you believe it?? We couldn't! I mean we were both so sure it was a boy. Not that we wanted a boy over a girl, it was just there are so many boys in both our families that we thought that would be it! SURPRISE!

Anyway the ultrasound went GREAT. I couldn't have asked for a better tech, she was wonderful! And even a Christian! We talked the whole hour nearly and she was just so friendly. She printed us a ton of pictures off, it was great. She seemed pretty upbeat etc the whole time so I think everything looked good to her, we just have to wait and see what my doctor says at our next appointment. It is next Thursday afternoon.

She made EXTRA certain it was a girl, so no surprises later! Its pretty clear to me even that we've got a little girl in there. Its made everything so much more real clear. I love thinking of my baby as a 'her' now and knowing we will see a little girl in just a few months time! I CAN'T WAIT!!

That night was so fun. I knew everyone was going to be shocked it was'nt a boy! We met at a mexican restaurant I like a lot and after everyone sat down I told the news and passed around the pictures. They were definitely surprised! Except my dad, he said it was a girl all along, haha! Now I'm really hoping my sis in law has a girl too!! (Although I have this feeling its a boy for her!) She wont find out till prolly the end of April.

So here is the belly today!

Sorry for the weird background, I'm at work. Its getting pretty out there, right? I still feel like I look more fat then anything, can't WAIT till that is over!!

So my dad has finally decided to take me on a the shop! Yeah! So I'll be working there Mon-Thurs and have Friday off, yeah! That car I was talking about it still getting fixed, its closer. I drove it around yesterday and really liked the way it handled! Still not sure if it is something we should get into though...its got quite a few issues...

Look what we got this morning!

Okay, I like snow, but its March now so okay, buh bye!! Time for spring!!

Anywho, thats about it! Adios!
