IT'S A....Plus Other Big News!

'NOTHER SILLY GIRL!!

Yup, apparently we are just girl making machines! LOL.

So I really was NOT thinking I would find out at my 16 week appointment last week! But what can I say, my dr is flipping AWESOME. Period.

So he comes in the room and starts talking about how many weeks I am, when I will have my next appointment, which will entail the anatomy ultrasound, etc. And I pop in and was like, Yeah, about that! And I begin to expound how sweet and awesome he was and telling him my birthday is next week and I was SO hoping he would let me do my ultrasound then so I could make an announcement at my birthday dinner.

He starts smiling as he is looking at his paperwork, and goes, well, your just wanting to find out the gender, right? And I was like, yes! And he says well as far as that goes why don't we just look now and see what we can see. And I said HECK YES! :D

So we traipse in there and I lay down, and he finds her right off, a great bottom shot! And I see the LINES. Little silly girl lines! He says, aw, I was sure it was a boy! LOL, join the club!

But I am much less dissapointed this time. I think it's because I really didn't know yet, and hadn't built it up. I did still think she was a boy, going off my cravings and a few things that were different this time. But apparently all the old wives tales don't work on me!!

So he showed me her heart and we listened again, and got to see her bounce a bit and her hand up by her face :). Then we were done! So I DO go back for my 20 week anatomy scan on November 4th, and I am waiting until then for the 'official' announcement on Facebook etc. I have told my close family and all and a few friends too. But from my research online it's definitely NOT unheard of for a 'girl' to turn into a boy when looking as early as 16 weeks! And that is with ultrasound techs doing the scans. My doctor did mine so, we shall see!!

So I was kinda excited because I have a girl name I REALLY like, dare I say love?? And I mentioned it to Lee a few weeks ago and he kind of made a face and said a few things about it, but I thought he kind of liked it! Well now that I want to make that her name he is like NO, I DON'T LIKE IT. Bahh!!!!!!!! Frustrating man! I always have problems with him and names! Well, ever since Chloe that is, but we had already decided we liked that one years before we even got pregnant, lol. (We did have a few arguments over her middle tho!)

Anyway, the name I like is Liberty, Libby for short. IT'S SO CUTE! And goes perfect with her sisters names. Chloe, Shelby, Liberty. Aw.

I don't know, not holing a whole lot of hope that I can convince Lee he likes it, but we shall see. We still have 5 more months :).

I have this fun idea for a photo shoot to announce the gender of baby Mickle #3. I want to get small squeeze bottles of washable paint and put us all in white shirts and jeans and go out in the pasture and squirt the mess out of each other!! While someone takes pics. And also get the girls hand prints on my belly :). It's gonna be so fun!

16 weeks
I haven't done my 17 week pic yet so here is my 16! I'm still feeling good! Am having a bit of trouble finding something to eat that I really like. And I can't eat much of what I do find. Baby is already taking up lots of space! Amazingly I haven't even gained any weight since last month. I'm still 130. Whoop! I guess the walking and such has helped! I'm still going about 3 times a week for a mile. Still no heartburn (although I did have one bout the other day after mexican, lol, but two tums knocked it out!) or anything. But I am still peeing like ALL. DAY. LONG. And all night long, lol. Poor Lee, I try not to jostle him too much when I get in and out. Sleeping is challenging some times as well. I have a hard time finding a comfy spot to stay. And some nights restless leg likes to visit me. All par for the course!!

So I know of three other ladies that just found out they are prego! They used to be in my small group. Lee and I have since started our own. The other group up and decided all of a sudden that they were going to be a 'no kids' group, and that did NOT work well for us.

So my birthday was yesterday! 32! BLEH. It was a good day though. I had a nice day at work, my Lee Lee greeted me with a happy birthday that morning. And then they gave me a pioneer woman grill pan when I got home! Love it! After that we rushed to Olive Garden and had a great dinner with my family.  Though sadly I filled up on stuffed mushrooms, salad, and breadsticks before my soup got there! Lol.

I also have some OTHER BIG NEWS. I don't know if I mentioned this before but Lee and I tentatively got into a house flip partnership with my parents last year sometime. We tried to buy a few houses and they didn't work out or fell through. Well then my dad bought a lake house and he said he was out of money. -_-

SO, fast forward about a year and dad has one of his (7) rentals paid off and is starting to let me talk to him about some houses I've found.

Then the realtor we work with found us THIS one:

It's a 1971 ranch, 4 bedroom 2 bath. Approx 1600 sq ft. In good condition, has been updated a bit, not wood paneling and junk still. Has new carpet. Mainly needs updating in the kitchen and baths and floor/paint. Also a new roof. The front columns are pretty bad and need replaced too, and the garage needs a bit of work. We also want to open the front room up to the dining/kitchen area some more, so will probably knock a wall out somewhere.

I'm SUPER excited. We just have started rolling on it, getting the bank going, appraisals done, etc. So will probably be another month (hopefully less!) before we can start working on it. I'm ready to go TODAY.

I've already went into pinterest planning mode and have all sorts of ideas, lol.

Well that's about all for now! Until later!

Baby Mickle #3

All looks good!! Here is our little gummy bear!

8 Weeks 5 days
I haven't ever had a first ultrasound be so clear with the other ones! You can see all the nubby little arms and legs! So the tech said I was measuring (or the baby was) 8 weeks 3 days, which was close enough to my 8 weeks 5 days they just kept my due date the same. I'm kinda surprised! I thought I might be a bit ahead. Anyway, March 19th it is! Or more likely March 20 something because I'm sure this one will homestead in there like the other two!! That's okay though, I want as close to April as possible really!

So after she measured the baby a bit she showed me the yolk sack, and also told me I ovulated from my right ovary, which was kinda neat, but useless, information! Then she found the heartbeat and we got to hear it for a second. Sounded good she said! I still can't find the little stinker with my home doppler though! But I keep trying every few days or so.

After that the girls and daddy went searching for diapers (someone had a stinky and mommy forgot to reload the bag with diapers) and I waited to be called back to see the doctor. That didn't take too long, and was pretty simple. He came in and said here we go again! Haha, then said, well you tell ME something about pregnancy, lol. He asked how Shelby was doing. He had forgotten about her being breech and trying to come out with her hand in her face though, how, I don't know! And after that we were done!

So I am 9 weeks 3 days today, here's my 9 week pic:

9 weeks

And just a random pic of me in a cute cardigan I got from one of my friends, lol. Speaking of friends, a few months back we, well I, started a ladies bible group. We have our normal Friday night group still where us couples (and silly kiddos) all come together and do one, but we all felt like we needed some sort of group just for US. I wish the men could do one too, but so many of them work out of town. Anyway, I'm not the leader or anything, but I try to keep us organized. We meet in different places each week. Usually someones house.

It was really good in the beginning, but we have sort of fizzled out a bit. Just have to keep praying for those that aren't as excited about it.

Here is a few pics of my silly girlies!

Well thats about all for now! Until later!

3D/4D Ultrasound!

The day is finally HERE!! Its about 40 mins until I need to leave work and I am so nervous/excited. Must calm down! Anytime I get worked up this kid starts going kung fu on me in there! She has hiccups again right now, lol. I swear she gets them 3-4 times a day! No less then twice.

So I am 31 weeks tomorrow! Thank GOD. In the single digits! Nine more weeks to go! I am so ready to be at the end! Although then we open up and whole 'nother can of worms dealing with a newborn. I really, really hope she is an easy baby. Olivia, the brothers kid, is high maintenance to the max, maybe worse then Chloe was (specially since Chloe had health issues and Olivia does not). It makes me nervous that my kid is going to come out the same way! With as busy as the shop is now at work, plus having Chloe with me one day here, I really need her to be pretty chill. PLEASEEE!

So our camping trip went well! Chloe had a blast. Lee and I had fun too, but it was definitely not my fav trip. It was HOT and BUGGY. Thankfully we did end up taking the fifth wheel so we ran fans all night and that made it tolerable. The best thing about it though was the toilet. ;) We went to Houston campground in the Bankhead national forest. Its very pretty and secluded/quiet there. There were like 2 other people there besides us and the in laws. They tent camped right below us across the little road. Here are some pics!
Our lovely '70s fifth wheel

You can see the "ugh, its hot" all over this photo, haha

Smiley head

She loves to play in any sort of water!

Just had a rain storm come through and cooled us off, loved it!

So anyway! We stayed two nights, the first night we had two fans, one on Chloe down on the couch bed, and one on us. I got HOT, and did not sleep well. The next night the in laws told us they didnt need the fan they bought in the tents so we got to have an extra one on us and that helped. Also the second morning a storm came through so it was pretty cool even though we had to shut the windows. Chloe did really well! Slept great on her little bed that pulled out (I put pillows on the other edge to keep her from falling off) and even when the storm came through I just sang to her a bit and turned her pillow pet on and she went back to sleep! Such a good girl. Here she is being goofy on our bed up top. Notice the lovely mismatched pjs, lol, the shirt that goes with those pants is long sleeve so I swapped it for a short sleeve.

So we went swimming in the lake one day which was a lot of fun and hiked a bit one day, but that was about it. My prego self wasnt up to much more. Plus the bug bites/poison oak I had were pretty miserable, especially trying to sleep at night! I was pretty proud of myself though, only having to pee once in the early mornings. At home I go at least 3-4 times!

Well time to get little girl up from her nap and head to the hospital!!

Ultrasound

So yeah, its taken me a week to blog about the results. I'm not sure whether I would say I was more dissapointed with the results or just SHOCKED!

I guess you probably figured out that I was COMPLETELY wrong about the gender. DEF not a boy, lol. Another baby girl! Which is what I kind of wanted to begin with! But then I convinced myself it was a boy and that I wanted a boy, so therefore it has taken me a week to readjust. I really am not sure that I am fully adjusted even now about it. I keep getting confused on whether I'm having a boy or girl when I am looking at clothes or something, lol. It's getting better, though. I'm not going to lie, I was dissapointed. I really did want to have a boy, since I have a girl. And I wanted Lee to have a little buddy, you know? I feel like Chloe is more 'mine' since she is a girl and we relate so well. Oh well, the 3rd baby is always an option. Although I will not be able to work anymore, and that is definitely not an option anytime soon. Maybe in a few years, we will see.

So, the big question now is WHAT DO WE NAME HER?!? We are all set and settled on Gage, just trying to come up with a middle name. We even kind of picked that the other day, Gage Irvin Mickle, after his paw paw's name. But now we have had to start all over. Like I said before, the husband does not like any of my girl names. I have thrown out another half a dozen at least and he doesn't like any of those either! Here are my front runners at the moment:

- Kennedy (Kennadie?)
- Felicity
- Noelle
- Krysta
- Lena
- Brynne

So of all of them I really like Kennedy, so does everyone else I list all the names to. But is it the one? I dunno. I'm about to get burnt out looking for names!

So I now also have to get rid of like 4 things I bought that are boy things. Huge bag of clothes, another lot of sleepers, a bedding set, and I may get rid of a winter car seat cover that is brown. Boo! I have bought one set of sleepers for a girl and a cute diaper bag. Also a super cute neck/head rest for an infant. Still need more clothes and to decide if I am going to keep her in Chloe s' bedding or get her another one. I am definitely not buying/asking for a new set, but if I come across a cute one on the online yard sale site I will probably buy it, if its the right price. (the boy set I bought was $20 and it was SO cute and SUCH good quality, ugh!)

Also got to figure out what color I want to paint her room. Don't want to keep the green. I know exactly what I want in Chloe's room but I can't do anything until I get the flipping bedroom set out of there I'm trying to sell. There is a lady from church says she wants it but she keeps dragging her feet -_-.

Anyway its going to be a kind of teal/blue on the walls and then purple and teal bedding. I'm going to get her this daybed:

http://www.walmart.com/ip/Dorel-Asia-Twin-Full-Daybed-White/23316637

As for the baby room I'm going between a purple or grey. Not positive on anything yet, really. Also have to come up with a small dresser for Chloe's room. Ugh, so much money going out! On that front thankfully I got a nice chunk of change from my dad for finishing a insurance list for him. Although the entire $500 went to bills except for $100 I used to get my contact prescription redone. $100 to Chloes insurance, $100 towards a dentist bill, $100 for a bill we were behind on, $100 for car tags. UGH.

We also went ahead and decided to sell our '71 Mustang. We were both pretty heartbroken about it, but I think we are getting over it. We are going to hopefully get 12k out of it at least so we can pay off our car loan and free up about $400 a month. We are then going to get another small personal loan for the dr/hospital bills. Lee also wants to put another 3-4k on that to buy a travel trailer but then I'm like, ok, we are back in the same spot we were before with a $300 payment! We shall see. The mustang has been up for 2 weeks now with no bites, so boo. Might have to get the father to buy it if it doesn't sell within the month so we can get the money we need now and then he can get the money from the sale. I'm so thankful my parents are well off enough to help us out if we need it!!

So Sunday afternoon I had a rare day off from church. Usually I'm there from 8-12 and then back again at 2:30 for practice and sometimes have to stay all the way till after 4th service which ends around 6:15 or so. UGH. But we had no practice and I didn't have to play violin 4th so we got the mustang out after Chloe's nap and cleaned it all up and went to the park! There is a cute, really quiet park in a town near us that has swings and some toys, a slide, etc. But its also got a little water feature and is next to a really pretty creek. Unfortunately the water feature is only on till 4 in the afternoon so after Chloe played at the playground a bit we walked down to the creek and splashed around in there for a while. It was COLD! But after you had the initial shock wear off it was comfortable. Chloe had so much fun! We had to hold her hands the whole time because it was a little slick! Here are a few pics from that day:

Headed to the park with the top down!

Splashing in the creek!

Love it!

Looking cool cruisin' through town for no particular reason

Usins' :)
Speaking of the 'stang I got to drive it yesterday all by myself to work! Then us girls took it to a town about 30 mins up the interstate to eat at Olive Garden for a girls night. It was so fun! I only stalled it once, haha. I still need lots of practice driving a stick!

So not much else going on right now. My sister in law is about to pop! She has about 4 weeks left, I bet she goes early though! She is having a little girl, Olivia. I'll try to take pics of my 19 week belly and post them later. Tata!

30 & 31 Weeks

Hellooo, I meant to post last week and never got to it.

Anway, I had my ultrasound/doctors appointment the Tuesday before last. I have good and bad news. The good news is that the baby looks great, heartbeat is great, I am measuring correctly, etc etc. Good!

The bad news is that apparently I have a placenta with issues. :/ When we got back into the room and the doctor came in she said that the reason they had me do another ultrasound is to check on my placenta again. Apparently they have been watching it and hoping it would move but it hasn't. The issue is that it attached low at conception and hasn't moved up, like most of them do, and are supposed to do. The danger with this is bleeding. If I go into labor with my placenta too close to my cervix then it can cause me to hemorrhage. She said it needs to be 2 centimeters away from the cervix to be safe. Its a form of what they call placenta previa, this picture shows it pretty good, mine is the first picture, the low lying one: previa

Anway, what does this mean? Well if the placenta doesn't move up away from the cervix soon then we will have to schedule a c-section. :/ I was pretty upset about it as she was telling me, but now that Lee and I talked about it and I've thought about it, I'm okay with it. And we still have a few more weeks for it to move. The doctor said she wasn't throwing in the towel yet, lol.

So if we do go with the c-section that means I will be scheduled at 38 or 39 weeks for it. Which means baby Chloe could be here in as little as 7 weeks! WOW!

So she told me that I will start my every 2 week appointments now (I go in again next Tuesday) and then in a month (2 weeks from next week) I will have another ultrasound to see how the placenta is doing. I'm assuming at that appointment we will decide on whether we are doing a c-section or not as it will be only 3 weeks till a possible date to do the c-section . The super duper great thing about this ultrasound is that it will also be a vaginal ultrasound. Doesn't that sound like fun?? I can't WAIT! Not. Sigh. She said they need to take some measurements that way. Ugh, oh well, I'll live!

So back to the good stuff! The ultrasound was a lot of fun, though short! We weren't in there more then 15 minutes. Here is our little girl at 30 weeks!

Check out those lips! I think she has definitely got her daddies, haha, mine are nothing to talk about! I can't wait to see her! I still have a surreal sort of feeling. I really still haven't grasped the fact I'm about to be a mom! Its so different! While we were watching her she was drinking! Her mouth was opening and closing and the tech said she saw her tongue, haha, so neat!

Here is my picture from last week of me at 30 weeks, I haven't done my 31 yet so I'll put that up later.

So I'm still feeling really good. Normal really, as long as I don't look down at my big belly poking out, haha. Little girl has definitely been moving a lot more these past weeks though. I feel her off and on almost every hour now.
I do have a few issues, mostly my back. Since about a month or two ago the right lower part of it will just ache and be so annoying, but usually only when I'm sitting. I have to find a different position or put a pillow behind my back. Also the heartburn is pretty annoying at times. Some weeks I will have it and others I won't. Today its pretty annoying. Most of the time a Tums will knock it out though. But today ughhh, its not working.

So really not much else to say. I'll probably blog again after my next appointment Tuesday. Ta ta!

ULTRASOUND!!

Can you believe it?!

I sure as heck can't! Okay, I'll back up now!

Yesterday Lee and I went for our first appointment with my actual doctor. I was so nervous that day for some reason! I guess because it could all come crashing down around me. I could get in there and have bad results fom my blood work, and them tell me that the baby was gone/had never been there...etc. I worry too much I know!!

Anyway, we got there for my appointment at 3:30, fast forward to 5:00 and we finally get in there, lol. The husband was having kittens. I was like darlin, this is the way doctors office visits go, you might as well get used to it! (turns out she had an emergency, she apologized very nicely)

Anyway we got in there and I saw them. THEM, the little vest and lap paper. UGH, I knew it was going to be, "all right, go ahead and get all your clothes off and she will be in here shortly!" And I was right! BOO! Oh well, I had a feeling that might happen so I had shaved and all that mess the night before, haha. It was a little awkward having Lee there while I got undressed and situated with the little that they give you to wear. He thought it was pretty amusing, lol, but I could tell he was a little uncomfortable too.

So we sat another 10-15 minutes and she finally came in. She's so nice. She sat down and asked if we had any questions, and then asked me a few things like if anyone smoked around me, and told me what not to eat, etc. She told me all my blood work came back great (thank God!) and my pap test that had been taken that summer was good. Yeah! She said somewhere in there she thought it was too early to hear the heartbeat yet, and I just went DANG IT inside. I was so looking forward to that.

Anyway, then she had me lay back and checked my breasts over and then pushed on my stomach and such, checked my back for any strange looking moles, etc. Then the FUN part. She had me put my knees up and stuck what FELT like a 2 foot pole up in me. UGH! You should have seen the looks that went across my face, lol! I'm still not sure what she was feeling for or doing, I couldn't hear her well laying on my back. Then she said everything felt/looked good.

Then! She said, "well, lets just see if we can take a peek in there, that won't hurt your feelings will it?" WHAT?! Heck no! I was like in a daze! She told the nurse to wheel the machine in there and they shut the lights off and I couldn't believe it! She smeared the ultrasound gel on my stomach and started moving the wand around (and pushing really hard on my stomach!) trying to get a good picture.

At this point the monitor was turned away from me and I couldn't see so I was anxiously watching her facial expressions. When she started frowning I thought, OH NO! But then it turns out it was because she wouldn't be able to get us a good picture because of the position the baby was in. BUMMER. Anyway after that she turned the machine towards me and then had Lee come over to look over my shoulder. There it was! OUR BABY. Our little blob. LOL! It was really hard to distinguish anything about it. But then it started moving all over the place and Lee and I were like OH! It was so so neat. The doctor said she saw a heartbeat and it was moving, so all looked well! Way too soon she shut the machine off and that was it! I wish I could have watched it for another hour!

So she left and I got myself wiped off and clothed again and we were out of there! I made an appointment for Feb 11th. So long from now! Ugh. By then I should be feeling it move and have a little baby belly finally.

In other news, still feeling pretty good! I think the nausea time is past and I should be good to go. I'm just starting to freak a little about the money. I still have a $240 bill hanging over my head that needs to be paid and then we have to have $311 at our next appointment and for another 3 months after that. And its like we are already living paycheck to paycheck! WHERE IS IT GOING TO COME FROM?

We have about $250 saved up now, so this Feb payment will be okay. And we are getting our income tax refund probably in march/april sometime. So we should have only one month we really have to scrape up for. God is more then able to provide for us, we just have to get our silly minds wrapped around that!

I've been looking at my stomach a lot today, my pants I've been wearing all week are feeling different today. I can't keep them up over my belly. I keep looking at it and thinking it looks like I might have 'popped'. I dunno...its still a little early. I bet I'm just bloated, lol. But that usually doesn't set in until later at night...hm. I guess we will see!

I bought a baby journal! Its to document what goes on during my pregnancy. Its called The Belly Book. Its super cute. Here it is: The Belly Book. Its been a lot of fun already to fill out. And it will be so fun for me, and my child, to look at later!

Well thats about all for now! I'm pretty excited about tonight. My bros wife invited us over for hamburgers and then we are goin bowling, yay!

Ta ta!
